Denver County Fair
I decided to bite the bullet and join up for the Denver County Fair-It sounds like it will be fun if anything. I am going to do some photo/encaustic pieces from some of the pics we took in Italy.

New Show ready to be hung
I am getting ready to hand my new show down at CORE. It opens tomorrow, so I am a bit behind the power curve! It will be open from May 26-June 12.

Studio stuff
I hate that part of painting when you are 3/4 of the way done with something, and that last quarter is where all the fire is. So much easier when it is in the beginning, as with all things.
Help me, I am in grant writing hell
I am currently trying to finish a grant for the small, non-profit gallery I belong to. I had it halfway done a month ago, went to save it, and the form completely ate it. I have been trying ever since to get a version of the form that works correctly on my somewhat newer Mac. I just got this one Friday, and I have been madly filling out all of our info and hoping it works, as it has to be in and friggin’ perfect on Monday, yup, this Monday. 
Soooo many things to do
I just moved my show up from August/September to May/June, while still holding on to the Annex for August Sept. I currently have 6 paintings in various stages, and I think I will also do a number of encaustic drawings for this, as well as my ‘burial’. I need to get a few more buckets of red dirt to fix it up and make it smoother when I install it.
New panels
I have been working on a few new panels of late. I am going with a more modern death theme, with a view of an autopsy/embalming room, stacked caskets, crematorium. I think they are progressing nicely. Have a cute kitteh.
First Friday down at 910Arts!
Today is the First Friday Open Studio down at 910 Arts, studio 14 on the 2nd floor! Claudia Roulier and I will be there handing out wine and talking about our art-it will be so fun!
New Studio !
I have a wonderful new studio downtown on Santa Fe! It is located in 910 Arts, in studio 14. I am sharing it with the very talented C Roulier, and we will both be having an open studio this First Friday from 6-10
